Dauby makes its doorbell button in two shapes to match the design of your handles. This one is square: it complements fittings with straight lines, square roses and rectangular backplates. For a door fitted with round hardware, choose the round version instead.

Care
Dauby bronze is a living material: its colour deepens over time, and areas touched by hand polish themselves naturally. The manufacturer calls this a living finish and recommends letting it develop — no maintenance is needed. Only the black finish is made of iron and lacquered: if the lacquer is damaged, it can be touched up with RAL 9005. To restore the original shine of a bronze finish, a soft cloth and copper or silver polish are all you need. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
