Care

Dauby’s bronze is a living material: its colour deepens over time, while the areas touched by hand polish themselves naturally. The manufacturer calls this a living finish and recommends letting it develop – no maintenance is needed. Only the black finish is made of lacquered iron: if the lacquer is damaged, it can be touched up with RAL 9005. To restore the original shine of a bronze finish, simply use a soft cloth and a copper or silver polish. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
