It should be noted that today door handles are connected through the door via square spindles of different sizes depending on the country. In France, generally, it will be either the 6mm spindle or the 7mm one. In Italy, Germany, Spain and other European countries, the 8mm square spindle is used more frequently. Obviously, the spindles are more or less long depending on the door thickness. It is possible to adjust your spindle with adapters so that it does not move and securely ensures the connection between the right handle and the left handle.
