Euro-profile cylinder rose for a cylinder lock, in iron

This rose has an opening for a Euro-profile cylinder, the cylinder used in modern locks. It is designed for doors that lock with a key: a flat entrance door, office or any room you want to secure. It is forged from iron, the material used in Dauby’s CDF — Créations du Fer — collection. It is fitted as a pair: one rose on each side of the door.

Compatibility

Suitable for wooden doors of any type up to 44 mm thick. For thicker doors, tell us the thickness in your order comments and we will adapt the fitting kit. To understand the differences between types of roses, see our article on lever handles mounted on roses.

Care

Iron finishes are lacquered or varnished. No coating is completely scratch-resistant: a ring, a sharp object or everyday use will leave its mark — and that is what gives the piece its character. If the black lacquer is damaged, it can be touched up with RAL 9005. The waxed rust finish is deliberately rough and textured: do not polish it; care for it with beeswax or petroleum jelly. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
