This rose takes a long, toothless key known, depending on the region, as a bedroom key, L key, OB key or Patent key. Its elongated keyhole distinguishes it at a glance from a cylinder rose: it is the traditional fitting for bedroom doors. It is made of brass, the material used in Dauby’s CDL – Créations de Laiton – collection, its newest range in brushed brass.

Compatibility

Suitable for wooden doors of any type up to 44 mm thick. For thicker doors, tell us the thickness in your order comments and we’ll adapt the fitting kit. To understand the difference between the types of roses, see our article on handles fitted on a rose.

Care

Dauby works with natural materials whose colour changes over time. The manufacturer calls this a living finish and recommends letting it develop, as this is what gives the piece its character. No maintenance is needed. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
