Stylised bronze window handle PHT+T aged iron

WINDOW HANDLE HIGHLIGHTS

This window handle is found in Brussels homes dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It draws inspiration from the Chemin de Fer model, specially designed in 1883 for the luxurious dining cars of the Orient Express. Pure®’s PhL gives this historic design a fresh look, with shapes that are more playful yet still robust. The PhL also offers plenty of possibilities: this model can be used throughout your interior, from the entrance door to windows and furniture. The cover for the tilt-and-turn mechanism is available in oval and rectangular shapes.

Care

Dauby’s bronze is a living material: its colour deepens over time, while areas touched by hand polish naturally. The manufacturer calls this a living finish and recommends letting it develop — no maintenance is needed. Only the black finish is lacquered iron; if the lacquer is damaged, it can be touched up with RAL 9005. To restore the original shine of a bronze finish, simply use a soft cloth and copper or silver polish. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
