FORMANI: Dutch design hardware, from door to furniture
About FORMANI
A Dutch brand founded in 1995
FORMANI Holland B.V. is headquartered at Maastricht-Airport, in the Netherlands, and sells in more than 50 countries. Originally a door hardware importer, it has become a Dutch design brand, with its own bespoke workshop and lines adapted to national standards.
Nineteen collections, sixteen signed by guest designers
Piet Boon (ONE, TWO, INC, ARC), Zaha Hadid Design (ELEEZ), Gensler (RIVIO), David Rockwell (ECLIPSE) and Bertram Beerbaum (TENSE) each design a family as a complete ensemble: door, window and furniture share the same design and finishes. FERROVIA, TIMELESS and BASICS are designed in-house. Red Dot 2019 for INC, German Design Award 2020 for ARC, iF Design Award 2024 for RIVIO.
Documented finishes and targeted certifications
Brushed or polished stainless steel, satin black RAL 9004 powder-coated on stainless steel, satin black PVD, gunmetal or satin gold, unlacquered brass that develops a patina, oak, ebony and Carrara marble combinations. A selection of handles is certified EN 1634-2 (64 minutes fire and smoke resistance), ONE only with its R53 rose. Part of BASICS receives EN 1906 class 3 roses; TIMELESS pairs SKG*** fittings with PVD intended for exterior use.
Distributed by Millapoignees
Millapoignees works with FORMANI and distributes its products in France. We regularly meet with its teams to monitor the quality of what we sell. Our advisers check every order to ensure the finishes match between the handle, its rose and its accessories, and remain available both before and after purchase.
