About M&T
M&T (short for Material & Technology) is a Czech manufacturer of premium door handles. Since 1997, the entire process has taken place at a single site in Dobruška, Czech Republic: design, manufacturing, assembly and dispatch.
Solid brass, precision machinery and plenty of handcraftsmanship
The brand works with solid brass in small and medium production runs. Components pass through automated workstations for precision, then into the hands of craftspeople for finishing and assembly of the mechanisms. The surfaces are then electroplated or given a PVD coating: 18 colours across four ranges (Black, Vintage, Brass and Industry), with warranties of 3 to 15 years depending on the finish.
Designer-created handles
Each M&T collection is designed by a designer, including Jiří Pelcl, Roman Ulich, the duo Herrmann & Coufal and Bára Škorpilová. At Millapoignées, you’ll find the asymmetrical Up & Down handle, the Industry Squelette inspired by 19th-century metal bridges, and the Rocksor, designed for interior doors, aluminium and steel doors, and gates.
These handles are made to order in the Czech Republic: allow 4 to 8 weeks for delivery.
