Square bronze bedroom-key rose, also known as an L-key or OB-key rose

This rose takes a long, toothless key known as a bedroom key, L key, OB key or Patent key, depending on the region. Its elongated keyhole makes it easy to distinguish from a cylinder rose. It is the traditional fitting for bedroom doors. Cast in bronze, it belongs to Dauby’s Pure collection. It is fitted as a pair, with one rose on each side of the door.

Compatibility

Care

Dauby’s bronze is a living material: its colour deepens over time, while the areas touched by hand polish themselves naturally. The manufacturer calls this a living finish and recommends letting it develop: no maintenance is needed. If you prefer to restore the original shine, a soft cloth and copper or silver polish will do, depending on the finish. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
