At 120 mm in diameter, this is the largest of the Pure doorbell buttons. Like a door knocker, it becomes a feature of the façade in its own right: a choice for carriage entrances, wide doorways and stone walls, where a 50 mm button would get lost.

Care

Dauby bronze is a living material: its colour deepens over time, while areas touched by hand polish themselves naturally. The manufacturer calls this a living finish and recommends letting it develop — no maintenance is needed. Only the black finish, aged iron, is made of iron and lacquered: if the lacquer is damaged, it can be touched up with RAL 9005. To restore the original shine of a bronze finish, a soft cloth and copper or silver polish are all you need. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
