The B603, with a grooved body

The body has parallel grooves running its full length — more pronounced than fluting. It is the design of the Nicole door lever, adapted for an espagnolette handle.

On an espagnolette that has developed some play or becomes stiff in winter, these grooves make a difference: they give your thumb and forefinger a firm grip where a smooth lever would slip in your hand.
