It is made from unlacquered brushed brass. The brass is cast in sand moulds using a traditional technique, then each piece is brushed and finished by hand. This method of manufacture contributes to the unique character of each handle.

The unlacquered finish changes naturally with age and use. The brass gradually develops a patina, giving this handle a finish that evolves over time.
