Wardrobe handles: design, materials and manufacturing quality
On a wardrobe, the handle can almost disappear into the front panel or, on the contrary, become a significant element of the furniture's design. The differences between models come from their material, proportions, origin and the level of design work involved.
Contemporary collections use in particular zamak and aluminium to create slim, long or minimalist handles. Other models draw on brass, bronze, wood or leather, with very different manufacturing processes and results.
Some European productions, notably Italian ones, place great importance on design, proportions and finishing work. The right choice therefore depends on the style of the wardrobe, the desired feel and the level of detail required.
