ENTO: brass handles by Salice Paolo, made in Cantù
À propos d’ENTO
A brand born from a house founded in 1937
ENTO is the design brand of Salice Paolo, a handle manufacturer established in Cantù, in Lombardy, since 1937. In 2018, the Salice family and creative director Davide Diliberto separated the modern range from the classic catalogue to create an independent brand, now distributed in more than 80 countries.
Brass, and two in-house surface treatments
The entire range is produced in brass, with glass, crystal or plexiglass used only on certain designs. Designs, moulds, finishes and quality controls remain in-house at the Cantù factory. Two processes treat the surfaces: H-FINISH, a PVD treatment in an autoclave, and S-COATING, a powder coating with an anti-fingerprint finish.
Three families, twenty-one designers
The catalogue covers door and window handles, bar handles, knobs, recessed handles and accessories. Door and window handles are divided into three families: Architectural, whose design integrates with the architecture, Aesthetic, with more assertive forms, and Special, which combines materials. Design is entrusted to external creators, twenty-one in total, among them Sebastian Herkner, the designer of the HANSA model. Finishes are deliberately limited to the most common and easily coordinated shades: chrome, nickel, bronze, carbon, brass and matt lacquers.
Distributed by Millapoignées
Millapoignées is an official retailer of the ENTO brand and distributes it exclusively in France. We visit their factory to see how their products are made. Our advisers check every order to ensure the finishes match between the handle, its escutcheon and its accessories, and remain contactable before and after purchase.
