Door escutcheon R PURE key L-17

Round bronze rose for a bedroom key, also known as an L or OB key

This rose accommodates a long key without a bit, known as a bedroom key, L key, OB key or Patent key, depending on the region. Its elongated keyhole makes it easy to distinguish from a cylinder rose at a glance. This is the traditional fitting for bedroom doors. It is cast in bronze, the material used in Dauby’s Pure collection. It is fitted as a pair: one rose on each side of the door.

Included

• A pair of roses, left and right
• Two M4 through-bolts to secure the adaptors to the door
• Set of wood screws, available on special request
• Fitting instructions in French
• Material: solid bronze
• 24-month manufacturer’s warranty

Compatibility

Designed for wooden doors of any type up to 44 mm thick. For thicker doors, tell us the thickness in your order comments and we will adapt the fitting kit. To understand the differences between types of roses, read our article on lever handles mounted on roses.

Care

Dauby’s bronze is a living material: its colour deepens over time, while areas touched by hand polish themselves naturally. The manufacturer calls this a living finish and recommends letting it develop: no maintenance is needed. If you prefer to restore its original shine, a soft cloth and copper or silver polish, depending on the finish, are all you need. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
