How to install Milla handles?
The installation of Milla Poignées designer door handles is designed to be a hassle-free experience, even for non-professionals.
Ease of Installation
Following our step-by-step installation guide carefully will allow you to mount our knobs and cupboard handles and furniture handles without any difficulty. With every purchase, you will indeed receive a complete installation kit. This kit includes everything you need for a successful installation: four mounting adapters, a standard square spindle of 8x8 mm (or a special spindle of 7x7 mm for certain doors), four through bolts, two Allen screws and a suitable 3 mm Allen key. For precise and secure fitting, the mounting instructions are detailed step by step in our guides.
Practical Mounting Guide
Start by drilling two 7.5 mm diameter through holes on each side of the door, ensuring they are spaced 38 mm apart. Use a mounting template or a mounting rose fitted with a spindle stabiliser (the plastic square inside the adapter). Once the holes are prepared, break off the spindle stabilisation element and assemble the two mounting roses using the provided through bolts, with the fixing tab facing downwards. Then insert the spindle into the lock and fix the designer handle onto this spindle.
The next step is to insert the square spindle (8x8 mm or 7x7 mm) into the lock, with the cut side facing downwards. Then place the designer handle on the adapter and the spindle so that it fits perfectly flush with the door. To complete the installation, firmly screw the two pieces together: the handle and the spindle. For interior roses, follow the same procedure as for mounting door handles.
