Anne Black Dot porcelain furniture knob with coloured dot

A porcelain furniture knob designed by Anne Black

Anne Black is a Danish ceramicist based in Copenhagen. She designed this model in 2007, and it is handmade in the workshop she founded in 2005 with the Hang family in Bat Trang, the pottery village near Hanoi, Vietnam. Each piece is individually cast, glazed or coloured, and fired: slight variations in shade are part of its charm.

The Dot finish

The piece is made of white glazed porcelain, topped with a coloured dot fired into the glaze: a graphic detail that will not rub off.

10 colours

Choice of 10 shades: black, slate grey, cherry red, coral orange, sunshine yellow, candy pink, plum, meadow green, light blue and midnight blue.

Sizes

• S: Ø 30 mm, height 30 mm
