Care
Iron finishes are lacquered or varnished. No coating is completely scratch-resistant: a ring, a sharp object or everyday use will leave marks — all part of the piece’s character. If the black lacquer is damaged, it can be touched up with RAL 9005. The waxed rust finish is deliberately rough and grainy: it should not be polished, but cared for with beeswax or petroleum jelly. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
