Care
The iron finishes are lacquered or varnished. No coating is completely scratch-resistant: a ring, a sharp object or everyday use will leave its mark — and that is what gives the piece its character. If the black lacquer is damaged, it can be touched up with RAL 9005. The waxed rust finish is deliberately rough and grainy: do not polish it; maintain it with beeswax or petroleum jelly. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
