What is a rose-mounted door handle? 

This type of hardware consists of two parts on the door, the handle and the key lock. This type of handle is increasingly popular and can be purchased in several design types. With a round plate, square, rectangular or the new concealed plate.

The upper part is the handle lever fixed to a plate, also called a rose, and the lower part is the insert for a cylinder key, for a bedroom key or a privacy lock for a toilet or bathroom. This lower part is called "Door Rose"

1- Recessed lock for bedroom key

2- Recessed lock for cylinder key 

Cylinder locks allow a cylinder to be inserted in order to secure access to a location. The lock operates by means of toothed keys.

3- Recessed privacy lock / WC

Privacy locks or WC locks allow a room to be locked from the inside. They are often used for rooms such as the bathroom or toilet.

4- Advantages of the door handle on a rose:

Depending on the plate shape:

    • handle on rose with round plate

    • handles on rose with square plate

    • handles on rose with rectangular plate

    • handles on round rose with concealed plate

Depending on the keyhole of the recessed lock:

    • BB - handle with a hole for a bedroom key.

    • PZ - handle with a hole for a locking cylinder ("barrel").

    • WC - handle with WC lock - lockable from one side of the door.

    • Without rose - if you do not have a lower hole (lock) on the door, you can purchase a door handle on its own.
