How to install door knobs?

Your door knobs will be delivered with a kit of essential supplies for fitting your new door handles.

The kit provided upon delivery of your designer handles includes: 

• A pair of knobs — left and right — with a plate 7 mm thick

• 2 mounting adapters

• 1 square spindle 8 mm in diameter

• 2 M4 through screws (to fix the adapters to the door)

• 2 through bolts M4 (to fix the adapters to the door)

• Set of wood screws (on special request)

• Fitting instructions

• All our designer interior knobs are fitted with a double self-smoothing metal spring (ensuring great stability)

In general, the maximum door thickness for which the knobs are intended is 44 mm. For thicker doors, contact your handle supplier who will provide you with a suitable fitting kit.

II. Which lock to add to a round handle?

Door knobs can be complemented with a locking rose including a key lock or privacy turn. The lock roses are offered in the same finish as the knob to create a harmonious decorative set.

The design of the locking rose echoes that of the knob handle plate. Like a design echo, the locking rose reinforces the style of the door handles. 

The handle can be paired with its lock rose (of the same shape and finish as the handle). Several models are available: the L-key or I-key lock, in brass or anthracite grey finish, will complement the rounded lines of your knob handle.

The other locking system is the privacy turn bolt, also available on a round plate, as in the following model in stainless steel finish.

The lock rose comes in many other shapes: oval, rectangular or square rose. The choice of finish is varied: black, stainless steel, brass copper, bright gold or white. Far from being limited to its simple security function, the pair made up of the rose with locking mechanism enhances the aesthetics and design of the door handle.
