Furniture handles and knobs in solid brass and copper, made in Poland
Open & Hide: solid brass and copper furniture handles and knobs, award-winning Polish design
AboutOpen & Hide
Natural metal, that lives with time
Open & Hide is a Polish brand of furniture handles, knobs, and accessories in solid brass and copper, manufactured in Poland in its own workshops. Left unvarnished, these metals develop a gentle patina over the years and with every hand that touches them: each piece gains character rather than wearing out.
A minimal and award-winning design
Simple forms, precise proportions, refined finishes: Open & Hide creations received the Must Have 2018 prize at the Łódź Design Festival for the LEXI knobs, the Good Design 2020 recommendation from the Polish Institute of Industrial Design for the AVA handle, and an Iconic Award 2024 from the German Design Council for the POLA knob and coat hook.
Open, or hide
True to its name, the brand offers both visible handles and discreet systems for furniture without visible handles. Knobs, handles, coat hooks, brass furniture feet, and mirrors make up a cohesive collection for the kitchen, dressing room, bathroom, and bespoke furniture.
For those who love the material
Open & Hide is aimed at those who want to introduce a noble material and a quiet elegance into their furniture, with details that feel authentic because they are. Millapoignees advises you on centre distances and finish combinations between handles, knobs, and coat hooks.
Distributed by Millapoignees
Millapoignees is an official retailer of the Open & Hide brand and distributes it exclusively in France. We visit their workshop and the craftspeople who shape each piece. Our advisors check every order to ensure a consistent finish between the handle, its rose, and its accessories, and remain reachable before and after purchase.
