This knob is made from 100% natural pure copper, with no varnish or protective treatment. This means it will develop a natural patina over time: its colour will gradually evolve depending on your interior, the air, the light, and how it is used. This transformation is intentional and is all part of the charm of genuine copper: the knob ages with the room and becomes part of the story of your home.

You will find in this product sheet photos showing the evolution of the patina, so you can visualise the appearance over time. It is perfectly possible to clean the copper if you wish to restore a lighter tone, but naturally the metal will develop its patina again afterwards.
