What is a door rose?

The door rose is a small disc, often metallic (stainless steel, aluminium or zamak), which can take various shapes, pierced in its centre to accommodate either the door handle or the lock cylinder. It is a cover that provides your door with an aesthetic finish. 

There are two types of roses:

. the rose for the door handle: this rose (also called an escutcheon) serves as the fixing point for the handle to the door panels. The alternative to this product is the handle on a longitudinal backplate, which combines the handle and any lock.
