A retro handle on a longitudinal backplate will certainly not suit doors designed in a modern style. Likewise, a model fitted on a vintage door creates a bizarre effect.

Choosing the wrong handle can make an interior design look poorly thought out. Of course, you can try an unconventional combination, but remember that combining contrasting elements is tricky. Therefore, great care is recommended. When in doubt, it is better to stick to simple and harmonious principles of interaction between elements.

Remember that the main role of a door handle is undoubtedly to open the door, so it must be practical and safe. Sharp edges can be a hazard — particularly in homes with young children.
