3. Other door handle materials

Simply assemble the few components that make up the door handle (plate, fixing screws, rosette, stainless steel spindle, …). For the handle on a longitudinal plate, you will need to measure the centre-to-centre distance or the length of the spindle. 

Do not hesitate to seek advice from a DIY professional if you need to install more complex door furniture, such as a cylinder lock system, a privacy lock model, or a multi-point lock for an armoured door. To install a mortise lock (recessed), you will need to drill a hole in the door after carefully measuring the centre-to-centre distance. For a surface-mounted lock, be sure to follow the instructions in the fitting guide provided with the product on delivery.
